Program participation
Cohorts of 8–15 participants, with a minimum of eight. Each weekly online interactive learning experience involves approximately 60 minutes of guided learning and reflection, with workplace application between experiences.
Site leader / key leader involvement
Site leaders receive access to all 20 weeks of online learning and are invited to attend the facilitated workshops at no additional cost. Sites are encouraged to make reasonable provision for participants to engage with the learning.

All invoices are payable within 14 days. No GST currently applies because The Educational Leadership Canvas is not registered for GST.
Booking and cancellation terms
Rescheduling, cancellation and participant withdrawal
Intensives and Immersives
A non-refundable 20% deposit is payable on acceptance, within 14 days of invoice. The balance is invoiced on completion and payable within 14 days.
Requests to reschedule made more than 14 days before commencement can be accommodated without additional charge, subject to availability. Requests made within 14 days may not be accommodated, in which case the applicable cancellation fees apply.
Cancellation charges:
- More than 14 days before delivery: 20% deposit retained
- 8–14 days before delivery: 50% of the total agreed fee
- 7 days or less before delivery: 100% of the total agreed fee
Payments already made are credited against the applicable charge.
Applied Leadership Development Program
Payments are staged: 20% deposit on acceptance, 40% at program commencement and 40% at completion of Week 10. All invoices are payable within 14 days. Payments are calculated using the agreed program fee for the confirmed cohort.
Requests to reschedule made more than 14 days before commencement can be accommodated without additional charge, subject to availability. Requests made within 14 days may not be accommodated, in which case the applicable cancellation fees apply.

- More than 14 days before commencement: 20% deposit retained
- Within 14 days before commencement: 50% of the total agreed program fee
- During the first three weeks after commencement: 50% of the total agreed program fee
- After the first three weeks: 100% of the total agreed program fee
Any payments already received will be credited against the applicable cancellation amount, with any excess refunded.
Participant withdrawal
The agreed program fee is based on the confirmed cohort and is not reduced if individual participants withdraw while the program continues. Replacement participants may be accommodated where practicable, depending on the stage of the program.
Facilitator unavailability
The Educational Leadership Canvas engages highly experienced facilitators for face-to-face and online professional learning.
Where delivery of a face-to-face component cannot proceed as agreed, alternative dates or suitable delivery arrangements will be discussed. If an acceptable alternative cannot be arranged, payments for undelivered services will be refunded.
Consumer rights
All cancellation terms are subject to applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.
Participant resources and copyright
Participant resources are provided for use by authorised participants. Copyright remains with The Educational Leadership Canvas. Resources may not be reproduced, adapted or distributed beyond the program without permission.
